ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Armed Forces are continuing decisive and effective operations against Taliban under Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq.
A timely action by the Pakistan Army thwarted a major infiltration attempt along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in North Waziristan, according to security sources on Wednesday.
During the operation, several Taliban were killed, while others abandoned their positions and fled. The Army also targeted and completely destroyed compounds and hideouts used by Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij.

As a result of the Army’s continued and vigorous action, Taliban have been forced to retreat and flee from their positions.
Security sources said that operations under Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq will continue until all objectives are achieved, reaffirming the military’s resolve to eliminate militant threats and secure the border.
Afghan Taliban regime must choose between terrorists and Pakistan
Pakistan’s Information Minister Attaullah Tarar has urged Taliban to make a clear choice between supporting terrorists groups and maintaining relations with Pakistan, reiterating Islamabad’s firm stance against terrorism.
“The Afghan Taliban regime will have to decide whether it stands with terrorists or with Pakistan,” Tarar said while speaking to Geo News.
Rejecting allegations that Pakistani strikes targeted civilian infrastructure, the minister described the claims as baseless. “The Afghan Taliban regime attempted to create a false narrative about an attack on a hospital,” he said.
Tarar emphasised that Pakistan’s operations are directed solely at terrorist hideouts and infrastructure. “Pakistan’s position is clear — terrorist sanctuaries must be eliminated,” he said, adding that the sites targeted during the strikes were being used to store ammunition.
