ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army destroyed multiple Afghan Taliban posts in response to unprovoked aggression in Balochistan’s Chaman sector on Tuesday, security sources said.
The response is part of an ongoing, large-scale operation targeting multiple Taliban positions, according to the security sources.
Several posts were reportedly destroyed, including those at Sarshan, Al-Marjan, and Edhi, along with a vehicle and other installations.
Officials stated that the armed forces remain fully committed to defending the country and countering terrorist threats.
They emphasised that the operation— Ghazab Lil Haq—will continue until all its objectives are achieved, vowing to neutralise terrorist networks and their supporters.

It is pertinent to mention that the Pakistan Army on Sunday destroyed multiple Afghan Taliban posts in retaliatory action after unprovoked cross-border firing wounded three civilians in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s South Waziristan district, security sources said.
The incident occurred in the Zlol Khel area of Angoor Adda in South Waziristan, where Afghan Taliban terrorists opened unprovoked fire on Pakistani civilian areas following a failed infiltration attempt by terrorists from across the border, security sources said.
Islamabad has repeatedly called on the Afghan Taliban to eliminate terrorist sanctuaries within their territory, particularly those associated with the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), referred to by the state as Fitna al-Khawarij, but officials say these demands have not been acted upon.
Pakistan, on February 26, launched Operation Ghazab lil-Haq against the Afghan Taliban and terrorist groups operating from across the border.
After a temporary halt on March 18 at the request of “brotherly Islamic countries,” Pakistan resumed the operation on March 26, stating it would continue until all objectives are achieved.
