LAHORE: Half-centuries from Daryl Mitchell and Sam Billings lifted RawalPindiz to a competitive 197-6 against Karachi Kings in the 10th match of the Pakistan Super League at Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday.
Opting to field first, Karachi Kings captain David Warner saw his decision backfire as RawalPindiz recovered from an early slump with a dominant middle-order display.
RawalPindiz made a cautious start before losing captain Mohammad Rizwan for 21 in the third over, dismissed by Hasan Ali with the score at 28.
The pressure intensified when Khushdil Shah struck twice in quick succession, removing Yasir Khan (8) and Kamran Ghulam (10) to leave the side struggling at 55-3 in 6.1 overs.
