ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Armed Forces’ media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), categorically rejected speculations about Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir’s visit to the United States.
ISPR said in a statement that there had been baseless speculations on social media that Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir is visiting USA.
It said that the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) is on an official visit to the United Kingdom from 5 to 10 February in connection to fifth Pak-UK Stabilization Conference.
ISPR on Pak-UK conference
It added that the conference is a bi-annual event for bilateral military-to-military cooperation. Senior Pakistani military leadership has been participating in the event since 2016.
