New Delhi, India: Crowds swell at the protest movement led by Cockroach Janta Party in New Delhi, as its founder Abhijeet Dipke says the demonstration will not stop until Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns.
The protests have become one of the biggest challenges for India’s Hindu-nationalist leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, since his 2024 re-election for a third term. Modi vowed “stringent punishment” on Thursday for anyone involved in leaking exam papers, a scandal that has sparked protests against his administration.
