Several Indian media outlets falsely claimed that more than six missiles struck the hangars of King Abdulaziz Air Base in Saudi Arabia, damaging three Pakistani JF-17 aircraft.
Official security sources and international monitoring confirm that no such attack occurred at the air base involving Pakistani personnel or assets. The graphic used in the viral posts relies on manipulated imagery and unverified claims designed to mimic breaking news formats.
Malicious intent to fuel escalation
Defence analysts and diplomatic experts point out that the disinformation campaign emerges at a delicate time.
