Tournament to be held across two venues without spectators
The historic 11th edition of the PSL will feature eight teams, including new entrants Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindi, competing over a 39-day period.
Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board has scaled back its original plans, confirming that all matches will be held at just two venues, Karachi and Lahore, and will take place without spectators. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi announced the revised arrangements during a media conference, noting that the decisions followed a joint meeting with franchise owners and consultations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who serves as the Patron-in-Chief.
Six cities, Multan, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Karachi, Rawalpindi, and Lahore, were initially considered as potential hosts before the tournament was consolidated to its current format.
