For Langoo, cycling is a personal passion rather than a profession. He holds a degree in civil engineering but faced financial difficulties in pursuing opportunities in his field.
To support himself and continue following his interest in cycling, he started working at a meat shop in Qalat.
Saving for a dream journey
Langoo saved money over time to purchase his bicycle and fund his long-distance trip.
His journey reflects how personal ambition can continue despite financial limitations, with the cyclist relying on his own resources to complete the challenging route.
During the journey, Langoo travelled through changing landscapes, including high mountains, valleys and remote roads, documenting a route that connected different parts of Pakistan.
Highlighting cycling and exploration
Langoo’s achievement has brought attention to Qalat and Balochistan while showcasing cycling as a way to explore Pakistan’s natural landscapes.
His journey from working at a local meat shop to cycling over 1,600 kilometres to Khunjerab Pass highlights the role of persistence, preparation and personal commitment in achieving individual goals.
The cyclist’s accomplishment also reflects the growing interest in long-distance cycling and adventure travel across Pakistan.
