RAWALPINDI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has successfully apprehended 11 individuals suspected of being part of a notorious gang operating an online drug trafficking network through various e-commerce platforms.
ANF Headquarters disclosed that the operation led to the arrest of 11 suspects, with the seizure of 33 parcels found in their possession. The seized contraband included 53.7 kilograms of hashish, 1.6 kilograms of Ice drug, and 1.2 kilograms of opium.
The investigation exposed the extensive reach of this drug trafficking network, with its operations spanning across the entire country. It was revealed that the gang had surreptitiously registered their companies on popular online shopping platforms, using them as fronts to distribute illegal substances to unsuspecting consumers.
The ANF is continuing its investigations to identify and apprehend any other individuals involved in this illicit drug operation.
