CTD Kills Three Terrorists in Zhob

ZHOB, Pakistan: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted an operation in the Zhob area of Balochistan province in Pakistan late Tuesday and killed three terrorists.

According to a CTD spokesperson, a targeted operation was carried out in the Murgha Kibzai area of the Zhob district on a tip-off about the presence of terrorists in the vicinity.

An exchange of fire took place between the security forces and the terrorists, resulting in the killing of three assailants.

Unfortunately, two CTD personnel sustained injuries during the exchange of gunfire initiated by the terrorists. These injured officials were expeditiously transported to a nearby medical facility for necessary medical attention and care.

The spokesperson further said that the killed terrorists were identified as affiliated with a banned organization.

Additionally, significant progress was made as weapons and assorted items were confiscated from the possession of the eliminated terrorists.

This incident underscores the ongoing efforts of our security forces to uphold safety and security in the region, taking decisive actions against extremist elements while also attending to the well-being of our dedicated personnel.
