Imran Khan’s era journey of politics came to an end when an Additional District and session judge convicted him in Tosha Khana Case on corruption charges and sentenced him to three years. The then Prime Minister became the convicted person of today. Now the question arises here, what were the main factors and reasons that Imran Khan is now behind the bars. There are many reasons for it, and one by one, I will describe them here. Imran Khan started his Journey of Politics in 1996 and launched his political party with the name of PTI, Pakistan Tehreeke- Insaf.
In 2001 he was elected as an MNA from his native Town, Mianwali, and in 2018, he became the Prime Minister of Pakistan; before coming into power, Khan prepared his famous slogan that if he will become the Prime Minister of this country, so, he would end the corruption and also the corrupt practices, will create hundred thousand job opportunities and will build one hundred houses in the country.
But all those promises became false; neither the corruption ended nor the Job opportunities were created, but slowly and gradually, mouths of the media opened that Ministers of the government were involved in corruption, but Khan denied again and again that this is the government of PTI and no one can think about the corruption or corrupt practices.
In his first speech on National Television, he said, that we wanted to bring the government on Style of Riyaaste- Madina, people appreciated the speech of Khan but that speech was only speech and was not based on practicality and then trade of corruption started, people watched the Sugar crisis and how much corruption was done, every Pakistani is well aware of that how the prices of the sugar was increased and sugar was disappeared from the Market.
Chairman PTI Imran Khan then convinced the poor masses of this country that he would thoroughly investigate the said matter and those who were involved in it, will bring to justice, but Khan could not also fulfilled the said promise, the screens of the TV were running even the names of the ministers, who did corruption in Sugar, but Imran became silent and he did not action against his comrades.
Khan so many times also reshuffled the cabinet to convince the people that everything was going on merit, but there are always two sides of the picture and people have seen the other side of the picture, that there was great contradiction between his action and talking. People of this country was looking at him with curious eyes that how, when he was not into power he made big and strong promises with his countrymen, but once he sat on the chair of Prime Minster, he was totally changed.
Every rise has a fall and Imran Khan repeatedly committed blunder after blunder. For Example in every rally he said, that Pakistan Army and Government are on one page, but after sometime he then disturbed his relations with Army Chief and Pakistan Army as well. He forgot that goodness and virtues of the 2018 election, how he became the PM of this country. He started the blame game and tried to stigmatize and labialized the prestigious institution of this country, which is Pakistan Army. All these things happened at that time, when he was expelled from the post of PM back in April, 20122, due to no confidence motion. Khan considered himself the wisest and much shrewd person as he once pick up the letter from his pocket in Public rally, saying that due to this cypher, my government was ended and the said letter came from Donald Lieo the American Ambassador.
This time also his narrative was badly failed, when the US State department issued a statement that we do not interfere in the internal matters of Pakistan. For the first time in the history of Pakistan, DG ISI and DG ISPR said in a joint Press Conference, that the statements of the PTI’s Chief was only and only propaganda based lie. DG ISI and DG ISPR, cleared the minds of the people.
People came to know that cypher was just a drama and nothing else. After some time, a person attacked on Imran Khan in Wazir Abaad Rally, though he was injured but he said in a statement that an Officer of Spy Agency was involved in the attack, he had no proof to prove but he just wanted to bring the attention of people.
Another said incident happened in the month of May, when Imran Khan was arrested on the order of the Court, so his workers started attacks on Military installations and on Jinnah House in Lahore and all these things were pre-planned. Jinnah House was badly damaged, which is a sign of national integrity and prestige. After that many PTI members let Imran Khan and condemned this bitter act. This is the story that the former PM is now behind the bars only and only to his wicked actions. OR one can say that the king of yesterday became the beggar of today.
