PMD Forecast Rain, Thundershower in Parts of Country

ISLAMABAD: In the forthcoming twelve hours, regions of Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Islamabad, Punjab, northeast, and south Balochistan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh are expected to receive rain coupled with winds and thundershowers.

Heavy precipitation is likely to occur in specific areas, as Kashmir, northeast Punjab, the Pothohar region, Islamabad, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, northeast, and south Balochistan, as well as Sindh during the period.

The morning temperatures in major cities today were as follows: Islamabad and Muzaffarabad at twenty-three degrees centigrade, Lahore at twenty-eight, Karachi at twenty-nine, Peshawar at twenty-six, Quetta at twenty-one, Gilgit at nineteen, and Murree at a refreshing sixteen degrees centigrade.

For the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the weather forecast from the Met Office suggests partly cloudy skies with a likelihood of rain, wind, and thundershowers in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Shopian, Baramulla, Pulwama, and Anantnag.

Temperature recordings in this region during the morning hours were as follows: Srinagar, Pulwama, and Baramula experienced a gentle seventeen degrees centigrade, Jammu at twenty-four, Leh at ten, and Anantnag and Shopian at a comfortable sixteen degrees centigrade.
