MOSCOW: Local officials said on Saturday that as many as four people were killed and several others wounded after a water pipe burst at a shopping mall in Moscow.

Moscow’s mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the wounded people have been immediately shifted to the hospitals. The mayor said emergency personnel rushed to the site after the accident.
The mall opened in 2007 and houses over 150 stores in the country’s capital.
On July, 8 an explosion at an explosives factory in Samara region of Russia, killed six people and wounded two others. According to Russian media, the blast took place at the Promsintez factory in Chapayevsk. Six people were reportedly killed and two wounded in the explosion. They said the explosion occurred during repair work in the factory. Reports said that Promsintez is one of the key producers of industrial explosives in Russia. The firm employs more than 1,300 people and supplies the oil, gas and mining sector, its website said. Earlier, four persons were killed in a blast at a gun company in Tambov, Moscow.
