MIRPUR: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq said on Monday that the European Parliament resolution condemning the violations of human rights and persecution of religious minorities in India had left Narendra Modi and his BJP exposed at the international level.
He said in a statement that India has always tried to deceive the international community through its policy of deceit.
The prime minister further said that the ruthless persecution of minorities in India was an eye-opener for the world.
While appreciating the European Parliament for condemning human rights violations in India, they demanded that European nations link trade with it to the improvement of the human rights situation in the country.
India an Extremist Country
He said that India was an extremist country where religious minorities have been denied their basic human rights.
The premier, while referring to continued violence and bloodshed in the Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), said that India had been engaged in massive human rights violations in the valley.
He said that Kashmiris have been the worst victims of India’s fascism for the past several decades.
He added that after 5 August 2019, India had turned the IIOJK into a military garrison, where Kashmiris live in a state of perpetual fear and anxiety.
