WASHINGTON: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Thursday was interrupted by unknown people at the Dulles International Airport in Washington DC following he landed in the U.S. capital to attend the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank.
Media reports said that Ishaq Dar is expected to hold direct talks with officials of world financial institutions.
A video clip widely shared on social media today the hecklers can be heard chanting slogans against Dar.
Earlier, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb was jeered at a coffee shop in London and Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal was harassed by some people at a restaurant.
