ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari received the Danish Minister for Development Cooperation and Global Climate Policy Dan Jørgensen on Thursday and discussed issues of mutual interest and bilateral cvooperation.
The high official of Denmark is on a two-day official trip to Pakistan.
Areas of cooperation
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in political, economic, investment, trade, agriculture, energy, and information technology domains with a key focus on the fields of green transition and climate change.
They discussed “Plan of Action (2023-2027)” on the Green Framework Engagement Agreement, inked in August 2022.
The Plan of Action would pave the way for joint projects and initiatives in green transition and renewable energy driven by technological progress and collaborative partnerships.
It would also contribute towards the realization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and set the foundation for a sustainable future.
