ISLAMABAD: A day before Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled address to the United States Congress, pro-Khalistan group have invited legislators, Human Rights bodies, and Think Tanks to a screening of the BBC Documentary “India: The Modi Question” in a programme organized at Cannon House Office Building on the Capitol Hill on 21 June.

A New York-based lawyer and General Counsel to Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), Gurpatwant Singh, said that the event is aimed at underlining Modi’s culpability in the serious human rights violations, from the 2002 massacre of Muslims to the current unabated religious persecution and suppression of political dissents, particularly of the Sikh people of Punjab.

Group’s email campaign

SFJ has also started an email campaign calling the Members of the US Congress to Question PM Modi over his divisive policies in India.
