BEIJING: Local officials said that at least five people were killed, one was injured, and another missing after a blast at a Sinochem chemical plant in China.
Explosion kills 5 in Chemical plant
Reuters reported that the blast took place on Monday morning at the hydrogen peroxide production area of a Chemical plant in Shandong province. The officials said that the fire had been extinguished, saying that the cause of the accident would be ascertained. It further maintained that the matter is being investigated to know the cause of the explosion at the chemical plant. Reports said that the injured was shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
