ISLAMABAD: The blue badge verification system of Twitter is now available worldwide, including in Pakistan.
The company’s CEO Elon Musk announced in a tweet on Friday that ‘”Twitter Verified now available worldwide!”.
Twitter Blue, a paid monthly subscription system that adds a blue checkmark to the users’ accounts, also offers early access to exclusive latest features.

Blue subscribers with a verified phone number would get a blue checkmark once approved.
The service is now available in Pakistan with 2,250 rupees per month subscription fee while users can avail 12 percent discount on subscribing annual plan.

Twitter also announced that it has started receiving applications for grey checkmarks for eligible government and multilateral accounts.
