ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his profound condolences and sincere sympathies to Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and brotherly citizens of Turkey on the loss of precious lives and causing infrastructure damage as a massive earthquake hit the country, killing over 300 people on Monday morning.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz wrote: “Deeply saddened by the news of an earthquake that struck the southeastern region of Turkey. I send my profound condolences and most sincere sympathies to my brother President Erdogan and the brotherly people of Turkey on the loss of precious lives & damage to infrastructure.”
