RIYADH: Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty on Tuesday reaffirmed his country’s full support for Saudi Arabia’s security and stability and condemned all attacks targeting the Kingdom during a phone call with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah.
During the phone call, the Saudi and Egyptian foreign ministers reviewed the fraternal and strategic relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various fields, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

“The Egyptian foreign minister reiterated his country’s condemnation of all attacks targeting the Kingdom, affirming Egypt’s full support for the Kingdom’s security and stability,” SPA reported.
The Saudi and Egyptian foreign ministers also discussed current regional developments, stressing the need to safeguard the security of maritime routes and freedom of navigation, particularly in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
They reaffirmed the two brotherly countries’ steadfast support for Sudan’s unity and sovereignty and the preservation of its national institutions, in a manner that safeguards its security and stability and fulfils the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people.
Earlier, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal also held a phone call with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Jordan, SPA reported.
During the call, the Jordanian foreign minister expressed his country’s condemnation and denunciation of the brutal attacks by the Houthis targeting areas in the Kingdom, including attempts to target Makkah and Madinah, as well as civilian and economic facilities.

He affirmed Jordan’s solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its full support for all measures it takes to safeguard its security, stability, and territorial integrity.
The two foreign ministers also discussed the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two Kingdoms and the latest regional developments.
They stressed the importance of continued coordination and consultation between the two brotherly countries to support and strengthen joint efforts to achieve security and stability in the region.
