KARACHI: The Pakistan Navy has commenced its major maritime exercise SEASPARK-2026, demonstrating its multi-domain operational capabilities and preparedness to respond to conventional and emerging security challenges.
The opening brief of the exercise was presided over by the Chief of the Naval Staff in Karachi, with senior officers from Pakistan’s Armed Forces in attendance.

SEASPARK-2026 is designed to comprehensively evaluate the Pakistan Navy’s combat readiness by integrating a wide range of platforms and capabilities, including warships, submarines, maritime aircraft, unmanned systems, Marines, Special Forces and elements from the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force.
Pakistan Navy Focuses on Multi-Domain Operations
During the exercise, the Pakistan Navy is rehearsing multi-domain operations by combining maritime, air, land, cyber and space-enabled capabilities to strengthen operational effectiveness.

The exercise also focuses on operations in the information environment, aiming to enhance coordination between kinetic operations at sea and activities in the information domain.

Earlier, the Chief of the Naval Staff visited Pakistan Navy Fleet units and reviewed ongoing operational activities.
Addressing officers and personnel, he highlighted that the changing security environment requires continuous preparedness, stronger integration among the three services, adaptability and effectiveness across both physical and information domains.

The naval chief emphasised the importance of maintaining a high level of readiness to safeguard Pakistan’s maritime interests and respond effectively to emerging challenges.
SEASPARK-2026 reflects Pakistan Navy’s continued efforts to enhance interoperability, operational coordination and technological integration while preparing forces for complex maritime security scenarios.
The exercise brings together different components of Pakistan’s defence capabilities to test planning, coordination and execution of operations across multiple domains.
