KARACHI: Hyderabad Kingsmen captain Marnus Labuschagne won the toss and elected to field first against Multan Sultans in the 33rd match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 11 at the National Bank Stadium on Wednesday.

With playoff berths on the line, both sides enter the contest aware that a victory could prove decisive in their respective campaigns.

Form guide: Both sides arrive with momentum

The Sultans enter the contest riding strong form, having secured four victories in their last five completed matches. Overall, they have six wins in PSL 11, sitting second on the points table with 12 points from eight games. A victory over the Kingsmen would seal their playoffs qualification with a match to spare.

The Kingsmen, meanwhile, have three triumphs in seven matches, all three coming consecutively after a nightmare start of four straight defeats.
