At 121 for 4, Dian Forrester launched a sensational late assault, smashing an unbeaten 37 off just 15 balls with three fours and three sixes. He found excellent support from Daryl Mitchell, who remained not out on 58 off 46 balls. The pair added 45 unbeaten runs off just 20 deliveries to push Rawalpindiz to 166 for 4.
For Multan, Mohammad Imran was exceptional with figures of 1 for 9 in three overs, while Peter Siddle, Arafat Minhas, and Mohammad Wasim claimed one wicket each.
