Eighth season of Pink Day initiative
The Pakistan Cricket Board released a statement early Thursday morning (April 16) reaffirming its commitment to the cause, marking the eighth consecutive season that the PSL has observed a dedicated Pink Day.
“The HBL PSL and PCB have organised the Pink Day in partnership with the Pink Ribbon Hospital in Lahore, which is Pakistan’s first Breast Cancer Charity Hospital,” the official release stated.
As part of the initiative, the PCB and Pink Ribbon Hospital have arranged free-of-cost screening for women from April 13 to 18 in Lahore, extending the impact beyond the stadium boundaries.
1 in every 9 women in Pakistan may develop breast cancer in her lifetime.
HBL PSL has joined hands with Pink Ribbon Hospital Pakistan to provide free clinical examinations and screenings.
