Emerging opener Sameer Minhas led the chase with a fluent 70 off 36 balls, striking seven fours and three sixes.
He set the tone early with aggressive stroke play and ensured there were no hiccups in the pursuit.
He was supported by Mohammad Faiq, who scored 19, while Haider Ali and Mark Chapman remained unbeaten on 26 and 24 respectively to see the innings through.
For RawalPindiz, Rishad Hossain, Jalat Khan and Mohammad Amir picked up one wicket each, but failed to contain the scoring.
Pacers restrict RawalPindiz to modest total
Earlier, United captain Shadab Khan opted to field first, a decision that paid immediate dividends as the RawalPindiz top order faltered.
Richard Gleeson struck early, removing Yasir Khan and captain Mohammad Rizwan cheaply inside the first four overs, leaving the side struggling at 15-2.
Kamran Ghulam attempted to stabilise the innings with a composed knock, adding 51 runs for the third wicket with Daryl Mitchell, who made 19.
Ghulam went on to complete his half-century in 37 balls but was dismissed for 50 off 39 deliveries, caught behind off Faheem Ashraf.
Following Ghulam’s dismissal, wickets fell at regular intervals, preventing RawalPindiz from building momentum.
Abdullah Fazal added 23, while Dian Forrester provided late impetus with an unbeaten 44, helping the side post 156-7 in their 20 overs.
United’s pace attack shared the spoils, with Salman Irshad, Gleeson and Faheem Ashraf claiming two wickets each.
Imad Wasim chipped in with one.
