RIYADH: Saudi aid agency, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has signed a cooperation agreement with a civil society organization to construct a dialysis center in Daw’an district of Yemen’s Hadhramaut governorate, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday.
The agreement was signed at the KSrelief headquarters in Riyadh by Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, Assistant Supervisor-General for Operations and Programmes.
Under the agreement, a fully integrated dialysis center will be established at Al-Jahi Hospital in Daw’an. The centre aims to provide critical dialysis services that are currently unavailable in the region, significantly improving the quality of life for patients with chronic kidney failure and easing their suffering.
This programme is part of the ongoing efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through its humanitarian wing KSrelief, to support Yemen’s health sector. The project will provide hospitals with vital equipment and supplies while ensuring necessary medical care is available for the sick and injured.
