RIYADH: Qatar, Egypt, Kuwait and Oman on Sunday strongly condemned the attempted drone attacks targeting oil facilities in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province and Riyadh region, describing them as a violation of the Kingdom’s sovereignty and a threat to regional security and stability.
In a statement, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the attempted attacks targeting oil facilities in Eastern and Riyadh regions using drones coming from Iraqi territory.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry described the attacks as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a threat to its security, stability, and territorial integrity, and a clear breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and the principles of good neighbourliness, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all legitimate measures it takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.

Egypt condemns attacks targeting Saudi Arabia
Meanwhile, Egypt strongly condemned the drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and affirmed that these attacks constitute a violation of the Kingdom’s security and stability and an escalation that threatens regional security and stability, according to SPA.
In a statement issued by its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt renewed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for the measures it takes to preserve its security and stability.
Egypt’s Foreign Ministry also stressed its rejection of all acts targeting Saudi Arabia and other Arab states and called for the immediate cessation of these attacks to preserve regional security and stability.

Kuwait condemns attempted attack
Meanwhile, Kuwait strongly condemned the attempted attacks targeting petroleum facilities in Eastern and Riyadh regions using UAVs launched by Iran-backed militias in Iraq, describing them as a flagrant violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817, SPA reported.
In a statement, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Kuwait’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures it takes to safeguard its security and sovereignty, stressing that the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an integral part of the security of the State of Kuwait and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

Oman condemned the UAV attack targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a statement issued by the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oman reaffirmed its solidarity with the Kingdom and its support for all measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
The statement also stressed the importance of halting such attacks and refraining from any actions that threaten the security and stability of the region.
Bahrain condemns attempted attack on Saudi Arabia
Bahrain condemned and denounced in the strongest terms the attempted terrorist attack targeting oil facilities in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Region and Riyadh Region using drones launched from Iraqi territory by Iranian-backed terrorist militias, according to SPA.
Bahrain described the attack as a flagrant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, a blatant challenge to UN Security Council Resolution 2817, a threat to regional security, stability, and energy supplies, and a systematic undermining of de-escalation efforts.
The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its unwavering support for all measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability, and to protect its territory and civilian and critical facilities.
The ministry stressed that Saudi Arabia’s security and stability are an integral part of Bahrain’s national security and that any threat to them is not directed at a single country alone, but rather undermines the security of the region as a whole and the interests of its peoples.
The ministry also reiterated the GCC’s position calling for the swift implementation of the decision to place all weapons under state control in the Republic of Iraq within the timeframe announced by the Iraqi government. It further called for all necessary and decisive measures to prevent Iraqi territory from being used as a launching point for any attack against countries in the region.
