Saudi Arabia Reaffirms Commitment to Solving Global Economic Challenges

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Participates in Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries 2025

AWAZA, Turkmenistan: Saudi Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Waleed ElKhereiji has reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment to concerted efforts to find lasting solutions to global economic challenges.

Addressing the third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3) 2025, held in Awaza in Turkmenistan, he emphasised the need for building strategic partnerships and alliances with the international community to contribute to achieving global economic stability, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

Representing Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, he said that Saudi Arabia is committed to finding a solution to remove obstacles in global trade, connectivity, development, and transportation, which hinder progress and limit countries’ ability to achieve sustainable development.

Vice Minister ElKhereiji reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting the global economy and advancing sustainable development.

He highlighted that Saudi Arabia has made sustainable development a core national priority under Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to implement global strategies through smart investments and sustainable projects aligned with the Vision’s goals.

Speaking on the Kingdom’s role in international cooperation, ElKhereiji noted that through active participation in global organisations and alliances, Saudi Arabia is working to strengthen development-oriented relations between countries and foster greater international understanding.

He stressed the importance of collective action in addressing regional and global challenges and emphasised the need to support landlocked developing countries by improving their access to global markets, contributing to regional stability, security, and long-term development for the benefit of all.
