MADINAH: Madinah Region Deputy Governor Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz received, at his office at the principality headquarters, Director of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance branch in Madinah Region Osama Al-Madkhali.
During the meeting, Prince Saud reviewed the branch’s efforts in supervising mosques, implementing dawah and guidance programmes, and providing awareness services to residents and visitors in the region, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
He was also briefed on the branch’s work during the Hajj season, including preparing mosques along pilgrims’ routes and at sites frequented by pilgrims, intensifying awareness, dawah, and guidance programmes in several languages, and monitoring maintenance, cleaning, and operational activities.
These efforts contributed to providing a spiritual environment and integrated services for pilgrims and visitors, according to SPA.
Prince Saud highlighted the support and attention accorded to the Islamic affairs sector by the Kingdom’s leadership, which contributes to strengthening the role of mosques, promoting the values of moderation and balance, and serving society.
He also commended the efforts of the branch’s staff in serving pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque.
