RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, has reiterated the Kingdom’s firm condemnation of the “blatant Israeli aggression” on Syrian territories and interference in its internal affairs.

The Crown Prince made the remarks during a phone call which he received from Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed the measures and arrangements announced by President al-Sharaa to address recent developments in Syria.

He expressed the Kingdom’s confidence in the Syrian government’s ability—under President al-Sharaa’s leadership—to restore “security and stability in the brotherly nation”.

The Crown Prince also commended President al-Sharaa’s efforts to steer Syria toward a path that preserves its unity, protects its territorial integrity, and strengthens national cohesion.

He underscored the importance of promoting solidarity among all segments of the Syrian population and preventing any attempts at sedition that could jeopardise the country’s security and stability.

The Saudi Crown Prince further stressed the importance of Syria continuing its efforts at all levels to realise the progress and prosperity that its people aspire to.

The Crown Prince reaffirmed the Kingdom’s steadfast support for Syria, standing by its side and firmly rejecting any action that undermines civil or social peace.

He stressed the necessity for the global community to support the Syrian government in addressing these challenges and to prevent any external interference in Syrian internal affairs under any pretext.

President Ahmed al-Sharaa expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom for its supportive position on Syria and praised the Crown Prince for his efforts to promote security and stability in Syria and the broader region.
