MAKKAH: The Holy Quran Museum in Saudi Arabia’s Hira Cultural District of Makkah offers a memorable experience to visitors filled with spiritual and historical insight.

The museum attracts visitors and pilgrims from around the world, offering a rare opportunity to view historic copies of the Holy Quran and learn about the evolution of its script over the centuries, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

One of the museum’s most remarkable exhibits is the largest known copy of the Holy Quran, displayed in a dedicated hall alongside ancient manuscripts that trace the evolution of Quranic calligraphy through various Islamic eras.

Visitors are offered a profound understanding of the Holy Quran—its divine message, its pivotal role in the lives of Muslims, and the reverence with which it has been preserved throughout history.

Thoughtfully integrated interactive technologies further enrich the experience, making learning both engaging and immersive.

The museum is part of the Hira Cultural District, a multifaceted destination that demonstrates Makkah’s spiritual and historical richness. The district offers a variety of experiences that deepen both religious and intellectual exploration.

Highlights of the museum include the Revelation Exhibition, offering an interactive presentation of how the Holy Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

Additional features such as a cultural library and the serene Hira Park contribute to a well-rounded environment for learning, reflection, and spiritual connection.
