ISLAMABAD: Saudi Arabia and Pakistan on Monday reaffirmed their commitment to further enhance their bilateral ties across all sectors.
The resolve was expressed during a meeting between the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malkiy, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
They discussed the full gamut of bilateral ties and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen already existing fraternal relations across all sectors.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, on Sunday received a call from the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and discussed the current regional situation following Indian attacks and Pakistan’s subsequent response.
It is pertinent to mention that Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir paid a visit to Pakistan on Friday.
During the meetings, the two sides discussed the full spectrum of bilateral relations while reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening the time-tested and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. They also exchanged perspectives on the evolving regional situation.
In March this year, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited Saudi Arabia and held a meeting with the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.

They discussed bilateral relations, ways to boost cooperation in various fields, and the latest regional and international developments.
The Prime Minister and the Crown Prince reaffirmed their commitment to elevating Pakistan-Saudi Arabia partnership to new heights, guided by mutual respect, shared interests, and a common vision for progress and prosperity.
