ISLAMABAD: With the aim to celebrate Quaid e Azam Muhammed Ali Jinnah upcoming birth anniversary on December 25, the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) held a cultural show on Wednesday.
Activities include a puppet show to be presented by the National Puppet Theater and national song performances, painting activities, and speech competitions.
Independence movement, sacrifices of freedom fighters highlighted by PNCA
Puppets donning white and green costumes that reflect the colors of the national flag acted out scenes of the independence movement while also showcasing the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters. Pakistan Movement’s history was expressed in story form to attract the children and youth present in the audience.
Students performed national songs whose themes described the freedom movement and national heroes. At the same time, the youth shared ideas regarding the moments of history that helped create an independent homeland for the Subcontinent’s Muslims in a speech competition.
