TAIF: The World Health Organization (WHO) has once again accredited Taif as a healthy city after it met 80 standards set by the global health body, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
This achievement is a testament to the city’s commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles in the community, in line with Saudi Vision 2030’s goals of creating a thriving environment and prioritizing individual health and well-being.
Governor of Taif Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz was presented with the accreditation certificate by Saudi Minister of Health Fahad Al-Jalajel.
Al-Jalajel said that the reaccreditation of Taif as a healthy city by the WHO shows the support and commitment of the governor, along with the combined efforts of all sectors of the community.
He also visited several health facilities in the city to ensure the quality of services provided to citizens.
The minister’s visit to Taif demonstrates the commitment of Saudi leadership to delivering high-quality healthcare services across all parts of the Kingdom in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030, ensuring excellence and efficiency in healthcare for everyone.
