NEW YORK: Amidst a flurry of rumors, Jennifer Lopez is trying to change the conversation. The singer was spotted in New York City (NYC) making a statement via a white ultra-cropped tee with phrase, “JLo be my mama.” What is that statement, exactly? We are not quite sure.
JLo paired the crop top with dirty-wash blue jeans and white platform sneakers. The only pop of color was her Pepto Bismol pink cardigan. She completed the casual look with a woven basket purse and her signature oversized black sunglasses.
In her another previous song “Ain’t Your Mama,” Lopez sang, “I ain’t gon’ be cooking all day, I ain’t your mama / I ain’t gon’ do your laundry, I ain’t your mama.” Perhaps she is reconsidering her stance on motherhood, or maybe it is just a playful reminder for us to do our laundry.
