ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday said that the forthcoming interaction with a delegation of Saudi businessmen expected to visit Pakistan in the coming days would have fruitful outcomes.
Chairing a high-level meeting to assess the progress on Saudi investments and projects in the country, the Prime Minister ordered relevant authorities to extend warm hospitality to the visiting delegation.
The participants received briefings on the upcoming visit of Saudi businessmen and their anticipated investments across various sectors.
Acknowledging Saudi Arabia’s efforts in promoting investments in Pakistan for the nation’s advancement, the Prime Minister extended gratitude to the Saudi leadership.
Reflecting on his recent visit to Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Shehbaz commended the preparedness of relevant ministers and officers.
Highlighting the assurance of unwavering support for Pakistan’s prosperity from the Saudi leadership, he emphasized the longstanding bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, considering the Kingdom a steadfast friend.
Prime Minister Shehbaz underscored the keen interest of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in promoting investments in Pakistan.
The meeting was attended by federal ministers, including Jam Kamal Khan, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Ahad Khan Cheema, Attaullah Tarar, Rana Tanveer Hussain, Dr. Musaddik Malik, Abdul Aleem Khan, and Sardar Awais Khan Leghari. State Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Special Assistant to PM Tariq Fatemi, Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission Jahanzeb Khan, PM’s Coordinator Rana Ehsan Afzal, National Coordinator of SIFC Lt. General Sarfaraz, and relevant senior officers were also present.
