ISLAMABAD: Pakistani Senator Faisal Saleem Rahman has been appointed as a member of the parliamentary board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank.
Representing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Senator Faisal Saleem Rahman commenced his term in the Pakistani Senate in March 2021, slated to continue until March 2027.
This appointment is the first time in the country’s history of a legislator serving on the boards of both the IMF and World Bank, underscoring a notable advancement in the nation’s representation in international financial spheres.
