ISLAMABAD:  Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that he endorsed the PTI’s call for the constitution of a judicial commission to investigate the May 9 incident, adding those found guilty of violating the constitution should be penalized.

He said, “I endorse this if the PTI gives us assurance that it will also accept the verdict of the judicial commission, it is not possible that someone assaults our institutions, the martyr’s memorials and we forget it.” Bilawal has also advocated for penalties for those elements guilty of violating the constitution of the country.  The former foreign minister alleged that the PTI misused the cipher for political gains, Bilawal insisted that those involved in the cipher’s exploitation have committed a violation of the constitution and must be penalized. He claimed that the PTI founder had politicized the cipher by printing a copy and publishing it in global publications.
