LAHORE: The 7th Women of the World (WOW) event would open at in Lahore under the theme of ‘Sakhiyan’ on Saturday.
A spokesperson, on Friday said that the two-day event is being organized with the cooperation of British Council, Lahore Arts Council and various other institutions at Alhamra.
The cultural event surpasses boundaries, weaving a narrative that rejoices the greatness of women and their timeless contribution to the human society.
Workshops, panel discussions, and exhibitions would be key features of the festival, besides captivating performances, thought-provoking discussions and interactive sessions.
Films of children, open-door performances, food stalls, and activities would add other dimensions to the cultural odyssey.
The festival would feature over 60 different sessions. It would delve into Punjabi comedy and other interesting topics, ensuring that WOW Lahore 2024 is not just an event – it’s an unforgettable experience.
