PARIS: Dior men’s artistic director Kim Jones ratcheted up the style for his winter collection, redistributing decorative elements on precisely-tailored outfits, western media reported on Saturday.
On a circular runway, models showcased collarless tops, shimmering capes, and a denim trouser and jacket ensemble accentuated at the waist with rhinestones.

The collection also drew inspiration from the camaraderie between Kim Jones’s uncle, Colin Jones, a dancer and photographer, and the renowned dancer Rudolf Nureyev. This influence was evident in the flowing, designs that echoed the graceful world of dance.
In a show-stopping finale, models formed a circle, facing the audience, while the floor transformed, rotating the models and lifting them upward to create a magnificent, cake-like configuration. The menswear presentations at Paris Fashion Week, running until Jan 21, feature prominent brands. Additionally, smaller labels contribute to the diverse array of fashion offerings.
