DUNEDIN: Pakistan on Tuesday announced playing XI for 3rd T20I against Kiwis that will be played on Wednesday in Dunedin. In a statement, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveiled that Usama Mir, Aamer Jamal and Abbas Afrid will not play the 3rd T20I against New Zealand. The statement maintained that Muhammad Wasim Junior, Muhammad Nawaz, and Zaman Khan have been included in the playing XI against the hosts.

The PCB said that Abbas’ scan showed “no significant injury, and he will receive symptomatic management.” However, a decision on his availability for the last two games will be made later, the PCB said.
New Zealand has secured a 2-0 lead in the five-match series, triumphing in the second T20I by 21 runs and the first by 46 runs against the visitors.
