ISLAMABAD: Two persons were killed in a road accident when a dumper and a motorcycle collided Late Friday in Kasur.
Rescue sources indicated that the incident took place on Dipalpur Road in the Kot Sardar area of Kasur, where a recklessly-driven dumper collided with a motorcycle, resulting in the on-spot death of two people, as reported by news channels.
Upon receiving the alert, both police and rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene, transporting the bodies to a nearby hospital. The deceased were identified as Samiullah and Rizwan.
A police spokesman said that the dumper’s driver successfully fled from the location, and they have started a search operation for him. —APP
