Mushaal Sees Indian Military Involvement in Kashmiris’ Genocide

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Human Rights Mushaal Hussein Mullick on Thursday expressing concern over the human rights situation in Illegally Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) said Indian military was involved in the genocide of Muslims in the disputed region.

Addressing a seminar titled Repression on minorities in India and atrocities in Kashmir, she said that brave people of the occupied valley could never be defeated through oppression and negative tactics like putting the political leadership in jails.

Caretaker Federal Minister for Human Rights, Khalil George expressing his views said that India had adopted the same policy in the occupied region which Israel was following in the Palestine.

He added that the main objective of the extremist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government was to turn the majority of Muslims in IIOJK into a minority but the people of the occupied territory would fail all such nefarious designs of the Modi regime.

The minister went on to say that in India minorities were being mistreated and victimized by the majority Hindu extremists.

He said the Government of India never supported the victims of the brutalities of Hindutva brigade.

Former Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Yaqoob Khan, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter Senior Leaders also spoke on the occasion.

They said the Modi regime had usurped minorities’ rights, especially the Muslims.

Member Kashmir Council Senator Denash Kumar said that India has become an extremist state where the existing minorities were facing prejudice, violence and oppression.

He said the Modi’s extremist government was making discriminatory policies against all minorities.
