“Pakistan, China Tied in Mutual Trust Relationship”

LAHORE: A delegation from the Jiangsu Police in China, led by Deputy Director General of Police Security Tan Yongsheng, held a meeting with Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman in Lahore.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields, particularly in the realm of law enforcement.

Punjab Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman highlighted the strong and enduring relationship between Pakistan and China, characterized by mutual trust, affection, and unparalleled friendship. He emphasized the significance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project, noting that its development impact extends not only to Pakistan and China but also benefits the entire region.

One of the notable outcomes of the meeting was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Punjab Police and Jiangsu Province. Governor Baligh-ur-Rehman expressed confidence that this MoU would play a vital role in promoting bilateral cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Pakistan and China.
