PESHAWAR: The Customs Collector D.I. Khan foiled a bid to smuggle a massive quantity of non-custom paid cigarettes on Monday from North Waziristan to various parts of the country.
The Custom Collector claimed that the worth of the cigarette was estimated at Rs 150 million, which was hidden in secret compartments of a dumper truck.
The truck driver and the non-custom paid vehicle used in the smuggling were apprehended from the spot. —APP
