TEL AVIV: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Opposition leader Benny Gantz have formed a war-time government, as the occupied forces continued their strikes in Gaza Strip, Western media reported on Wednesday.
The new government comes in place after Israel was attacked by Palestinian Hamas Group. As per media reports, more than 2,200 have been killed from both sides during the recent escalation between Israel and Palestine.
The United Nations has confirmed that 11 of its staff members had been killed in Gaza since Saturday, while the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies also said it had lost five of its members.
The Palestinian health ministry said that in the occupied West Bank, at least four Palestinians were martyred when Israeli armed settlers assaulted a town south of Nablus, bringing the death toll to 29.
US President Joe Biden has already announced to send more munitions and military hardware to Israel, its close ally.

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid has not yet joined the temporary alliance, although according to a joint statement a seat would be reserved for him in the war cabinet.
Israel planning Gaza ground invasion
Israel has planning for a ground invasion of Gaza but faces the threat of a multi-front war from pro-Palestinian groups in neighbouring Lebanon and Syria.
The conflict, which has escalated dramatically in recent days, has led to a devastating loss of life, with more than 1,100 innocent Palestinian civilians martyred and countless others wounded because of the persistent Israeli military airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
Israel in its air strikes on Gaza has razed entire districts and has put Gaza under total siege to stop food and fuel reaching the area inhabited by 2.3 million people, many poor and dependent on aid.
