RAWALPINDI: The security forces of Pakistan on Wednesday killed a terrorist and wounded another after an intense exchange of fire during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in the Kulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district of Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to a press release issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), intense fire exchange took place between Pakistan Army troops and terrorists during the conduct of the operation.
Ammunition and weapons were also recovered from the killed terrorist. ISPR said that the killed terrorist was actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the killing of innocent civilians.
The locals of the area lauded the operation, whereas sanitization of the area was being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area, ISPR said.
