ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Interim Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, has called for better coordination and cooperation among the Federation and the provinces about tax documentation, local media reported on Wednesday.
The PM was chairing a high-level meeting on FBR and the Privatization Division in Islamabad. He said expanding the tax net is the top priority of the Government. He issued directives to all relevant authorities to work together for tax reforms in the country.

Kakar said privatization of loss-making state-owned entities should be accelerated by fulfilling all legal procedures.
The meeting was also apprised that the Privatization Division is also moving in the right direction to enhance the efficiency and service delivery of the corporations by harnessing the potential of the private sector in this connection.
