QUETTA: A parliamentary panel formed to finalize the name of the interim Chief Minister of Balochistan on Friday picked Mir Ali Mardan Domki for the position. Local media reported that a summary was approved by Balochistan Governor Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar and the caretaker CM will take oath soon.

He belongs to Lahri area of Balochistan. Ali Mardan Domki was born on 13 Oct, 1972. He did his Masters in Sociology. Earlier, Ali Mardan was elected as District Nazim Sabi and Tehsil Nazim Lahri. Opposition Leader in Balochistan Assembly Malik Sikandar held talks with outgoing CM Abdul Quddus Bizenjo to nominate the caretaker CM of the province.
